But although the Rev. Jerry Falwell can indeed say that, the thing that most causes him to radiate pride is his "successful family"--his happy and "godly" wife, three children, and five grandchildren.
To this day, even though he still works 12 hours every day of the week--and could do so the year round, for there's more than enough work for him to do--he sets aside time to do things with his family.
"My wife and I always put family first," he says in an interview. "We've never scheduled anything away from home on the birthdays of our children, their spouses, the grandchildren, or one another." Nor did anything intrude on the children's athletic events, school plays, graduations, or violin and piano recitals.

Thus, spiritual revival can come to the United States, Falwell affirms, "if our pastors and parents will lead the way."
