The PGA Tour is by design the most difficult and challenging golf tournament in the world. For this "Mount Everest of golf," the rough beyond the fairways is grown longer than normal, the pins are placed in the most difficult positions on the putting greens, and the tee-offs are moved back to maximize the distance on each hole.

Although the facts of this fascinating case involve the ADA's application to professional golf, clearly all professional sports have a big stake in the outcome. The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear oral arguments this month.
