Selected works by Michele Brody will be shown at Edinboro (Pa.) University, January 25--February 28, and at Allegheny (Pa.) College, February 24--March 24. A one-person show featuring Gay Outlaw's work will be held at Refusalon gallery, San Francisco, January 8--February 28. Todd Slaughter's sculpture is at the Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art in September and the art gallery of the University of Memphis in November. Karin Luner will be showing at the John G. Blank Center for the Arts, Michigan City, Indiana, June 13--July 20. Stephen Henkin is an arts editor at The World & I.

"Now, did I eat all those muffins? Yep, most of them," Luner admits. "Some I ate only partially and fed the birds the rest. I did gain several pounds. Muffins are very fattening. So there you have it. My 501s are too tight. Damn!"
Apparently the "edible art" genre is not only a feast for the eyes but, in some cases, a feast for the artist as well!
